BBVA sells 5% of Bradesco
The bank Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) sold the 5.01% it held in the capital of the Brazilian Bradesco, obtaining gross added value estimated at 740 million euros, was announced this Wednesday.
The divestment is an option now exercised by selling second largest private institution of banking Spanish. Participation sold has a value of approximately 976 million euros at market prices (about 1.47 billion dollars).
The entities are the purchasers Bradesco Foundation and the City of God - Companhia Comercial de Participations, largest shareholders in Brazilian bank
