hina and the Portuguese-speaking countries increased by 35 percent in 2007

The trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries grew 35 per cent in 2007 to 46.35 billion dollars, in Macao returned to Portuguese news agency Lusa citing a source official.

The main partner Lusophone of China is Brazil saw that between January and December last year the trade grow 46.4 percent to a total of 29.7 billion dollars, followed by Angola, with an increase of 19.4 percent for trade of 14.11 billion dollars.

Portugal is the third partner of China in the context of lusofonia with trade of 2.2 billion dollars and a growth counterpart face to 2006, 29 percent.

Mozambique closes the list of major Chinese partners in terms of trade with the Portuguese-speaking countries have registered to trade in the amount of 280 million dollars and a growth of 36.8 percent.

Between 2003 and 2006, trade between China and countries lusófonos more than tripled to a total of 34 billion dollars at the end of 2006, a growth which at the time accounted for 46.9 per cent compared to 2005.

The values established in 2007 also indicate that trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries must overcome already in 2008 the goal of 50,000 million dollars drawn for 2009.
