Tourism: Holy Spirit will invest 50 million in actual renovation of two hotels in Brazil
Sao Paulo, Brazil, February 21 - The Espirito Santo Tourism will invest 50 million in actual remodeling and renovation of its two hotels in Brazil, until 2011, said Tuesday in Sao Paulo a responsible person of the company.
In a meeting with the press, Miguel Rugeroni, president-executive of Espirito Santo Tourism, moved that the aim of the group is to control Portuguese ecoresorts four more in the northeast region of Brazil, in the next five years.
In San Francisco, the group recently leased the hotel Mofarrej, with 230 quarters, in the southern city, which will be closed from the day July 01 to work on remodeling, with the opening scheduled for January 2009.
According Miguel Rugeroni, the Portuguese group sought for two years a business opportunity in Sao Paulo, close to the rental of hotel Mofarrej for 20 years, whose value can not be disclosed "for contractual impediment."
The Sao Paulo Tivoli Gardens will be located in one of the most noble of the city, and close to Avenida Paulista, the "heart" financial and where large companies.
The Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte, in the northern coastal state of Bahia, acquired by the group last year, will be a major reshuffle that will give "a taste of Brazil."
The win Ecoresort also a residential component, with the construction of 48 houses, four bedrooms, which will be sold for prices ranging from 350,000 to EUR 400,000 each.
