The Impresa ended 2007 with net result of 18 million euros, a figure which represents an increase of 9.9% compared to the previous year, with the company to benefit from record profits, revenues hit by SIC.
In a Press release [Cot] states that the profits of 2007 totaled 18.09 million, up from 16.46 million euros recorded in the previous year and in line with the estimates of analysts.
Revenue grew 9.7% to 280 million euros, with the company the benefit of acquisitions made, which increased the perimeter of consolidation of Impresa. Without taking into account the acquired businesses, revenue rose 6.4%.
In terms of EBITDA, the Press has increased from 14.4% to 46.2 million euros, which meant an improvement in EBITDA margin to 16.5%, 0.4 percentage points more than in the previous year.
New Business benefit
The company led by Pinto Balsemão stresses that the year 2007 was marked by several acquisitions, including the shares of 51% in InfoPortugal, 90% in Dialectus, 30% in the TDN, 51% and 51% in Netjovens in Dirnet, which meant an investment of 5.3 million euros and also the expansion of the various businesses involved a plan of investment of 10.1 million, concentrated in the Digital Press and the SIC.

The Impresa ended 2007 with a debt of 182.1 million euros, 26.7 million less than the end of 2006.
SIC drives with record revenues
