Portugal: Portuguese Construction will repair roads in the city of Praia, Cape Verde

The construction Portuguese MSF - Moniz of Maia, Serra and Fortunato - Contractors announced Friday in Lisbon have won the repair of the road network in the city of Praia, capital of Cape Verde, a contract of 11.3 million.

The contract with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Cape Verde includes the rehabilitation of the national road of the Old City, the road Prainha, Paths of the Plateau "and asfaltagem in Rua da Fazenda, in Praia, island of Santiago.

The works are already underway and have the time of completion January 2009.

Ongoing since January are the works of earthmoving Bicuda point of the venture, which should be completed by June.

This work, valued at 1.76 million, has as a client Vilas Ocean - Society of Tourist Development.

The MSF began operating in Cape Verde in 1997, and formed the company in 2002, right MSF Cape Verde Cape Verde, based in the city of Mindelo.

The Cape Verdean subsidiary has been responsible for projects of construction and reconstruction of roads, airports and industrial infrastructure.

The Portuguese construction is still present in African countries such as Angola, Sao Tome and Principe, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Ghana and Senega
